July 22nd

I'm using Psubs for this one. I think this is the way to go with edge and vertex weighing for controlling the subtle surface changes. Landing gear salvaged from an older X-47B study.

There's some definite fine tuning left to do on how the body blends into the wings before I start making cuts and booleans into the shape for details. Meshfusion perhaps?

Mesh Fusion doodles

 Mesh fusion is here!!
An aircraft actuator I have for reference on my desk, as well as a Speedbirds (Stephane Janin) inspired seaplane. The live booleans and seam control are nice! Pretty buggy still, but really fun and satisfying.

Stealth Drone - x-47B study

I'm having a hard time with handling the shapes - the super simple angles vs. The complex compound, subtly curved surfaces are tricky.
I'm taking an in-depth go at this one to get a good feeling for how to translate the stealthy forms into poly modeling.

Smart Bomb, take 2

ruined my original file, so I started over and hit it harder
